Taking a Break
Sometimes, life gets a little crazy. We work, we play, we plan. We run, we swim, we think, we do.
It can take a lot out of a person.
Sometimes, a little nap is just what we need to restore us to peak condition.
I would suggest that a nap in a comfy recliner or even curled up under a blanket or two on your bed might be better options than a snooze in a booth at IHOP. However, a snooze is restorative where ever you manage to enjoy it.
Today, this picture of my little nephew is driving home the point of the discussion we are having over at Heart to Heart with Holley in our journey to write The Rest of Your Story.
We all need time to coast. Time to recharge our personal reserves. To enjoy an easier pace. We need an opportunity to restore ourselves so we can continue on our life's journey with energy, creativity, focus, a positive outlook and simply the stamina to keep on moving.
Do you allow for a little coasting in your life? How often? What do you do to restore yourself?
Peace.
